The beat of "Thanx" is relentless, the rhythmic tones within "Levitate" are graceful, and the vocals of Sir John on "Energy of Life" and "Falling in Love" are uplifting - and these three characteristics in tandem are what make house music so damn good. (Jack Alberson)
If you enjoy the sounds of 'old-school' techno/trance (think Superstition), you need to listen to this album. Pretty intense beats pound relentlessly through this album, while layers of sythns build and build. The album is sequenced together, so the tunes kind of flow into one another. The best tracks on this album are Dreamchaser, Test Pilot, and People WIll Believe. Test pilot, in particular, is an unbelievable fusion of trance, techno, and house. The ravishing, seductive vocals of Sir John on "Energy Of Life" stay with me and somehow remind me of Elvis Costello in the melody line. (Emily Tan, Allnightclubs Magazine)
Nice pure progressive male vocal deep trance, with nice detroit flows and super ill housey stabbs, for the more sophisticated listener!! (DJ Times Magazine)
"Energy Of Life" which is my kind of house with the stinging high hats punctuating the beat and a groovy vocal track. (raves.com)
I hate to say this, but there is one tune which should be avoided at all costs. "Energy of Love" pretty much reeks of cheese from its lame title, a la Paul Van Dyk / BT. This vocal tune is as bad as it gets. I've deducted a star from this near-perfect rating [of the Dreamchasing album] as a penalty! (Ultranoah, review on amazon.com)
"Falling In Love" is an amorous audio track carried at a smooth pace. (raves.com)
They never disappoint, very original. (Sister Bliss of Faithless)
On the Glacier mix they add vocals by John of Lemonsoul, to create a track that simply wipes the floor with all of the recent vocal progressive tracks. Producers need to pay attention to these guys and learn how it should be done. (nrgmusic.com)
